In the realm of Indian Astrology, the Navagrahas hold significant sway, exerting influence over the prosperity and destiny of individuals. Many embark on pilgrimages to the Navagraha temples, located within a 60km radius of Kumbakonam in the Thanjavur district of Tamilnadu, to counteract negative planetary effects or enhance the potency of the planets governing their birth charts. These nine temples, predominantly dedicated to Lord Shiva, correspond to celestial bodies such as the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Solar Eclipse, and Lunar Eclipse, in accordance with Indian astrological beliefs.
Day 1
On the first day of the tour, the journey will begin at 5:30 AM with a pickup in Trichy and visits to various temples including Thingalur Chandran Temple, Alangudi Guru Temple, Thirunageswaram Raghu temple, Suriyanar temple, Kanjanur Sukran temple, Vaitheeswaran koil, Thiruvenkadu Budhan Temple, and Keezhaperumpallam Kethu Temple before returning to Mayiladuthurai for the night.
Day 2
The second day will start with breakfast at the hotel in Mayiladuthurai, followed by a visit to Thirunallar Holy bath and Thirunallar Saneeswaran temple before departing for Trichy.
The tour will then come to an end.
