Day 1 :Kandy

Upon arrival in Colombo, our team will be waiting to welcome you at Bandaranaike International Airport and accompany you to Kandy, the historical hill capital of Sri Lanka and its second largest city, renowned for its UNESCO World Heritage designation. During the journey, we will stop by Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and a spice garden, where you can witness the devoted care provided to orphaned elephants.

In Kandy, take the opportunity to explore the city and its profound Buddhist legacy. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic safeguards a revered relic that dates back to the 4th century, when the Buddha's tooth was brought to Sri Lanka concealed in the hair of an Orissan princess to protect it from desecration. Over time, the relic has gained immense significance and sanctity in Sri Lanka and across the Buddhist community. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Sri Lanka as you begin your adventure in this captivating country.

Day 2 : Nuwara Eliya

Begin your day with a visit to Nuwara Eliya after breakfast. Discover the majestic Ramboda Falls, the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka, boasting a 109m drop. Tour a tea factory and plantation before heading to the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple, featuring a 16-foot Hanuman statue from the Ramayana epic.

Experience the allure of Nuwara Eliya, known as 'Little England,' as you embark on a city tour surrounded by picturesque mountains, valleys, and tea estates. Explore the Seetha Amman Temple, a significant site where Sita was held captive by King Ravana. This charming town, reminiscent of England, showcases colonial influences and offers a delightful escape with its cool climate and stunning landscapes.

Day 3 :Bentota

After Breakfast, Begin your day with a visit to the famous Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery in Bentota, managed by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka since 1988. Over 3.5 million baby turtles have been protected and released into the wild with the help of local fishermen who provide eggs, buried in sand until hatchlings are released into the sea after about 50 days. The hatchery also cares for injured and disabled turtles, including albinos.

After the hatchery, enjoy a boat ride on the Madu Ganga River, surrounded by pristine mangrove forests and abundant wildlife. Witness diverse flora and fauna along the way, and visit a Buddhist monastery on an island to observe local activities such as cinnamon production and prawn fishing. In the evening, watch fishermen in canoes lighting lanterns to attract shellfish into their traps, offering a captivating experience of nature and culture with the local community.

Day 4 :Colombo

Travel to Colombo, a two-hour journey, and begin your exploration of the city at Fort, the former British administrative and military hub. Continue on to Cinnamon Gardens, a tree-lined residential area, before heading to Pettah's bustling commercial district, which includes Sea Street, known for its goldsmiths, a Hindu temple, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal from 1749. Don't miss the opportunity to visit BMICH, home to an Avukana Buddha replica, and Independence Square. Finally, indulge in a shopping experience at Odel, where you can find designer clothing for the whole family and enjoy a culinary adventure. In Colombo, you'll encounter a rich blend of history, culture, and modern shopping opportunities, making for a day of exploration unlike any other.
